The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 挺好的呢，完整的一个故事，就是结局有点尴尬，花大价钱费劲搞垮自己爹的店然后第二天立马和老爹重新开业？

学院派的若是听说有人把郭德纲执导的《祖宗十九代》说成电影，逮谁跟谁拼命。《烧烤之王》也是一样，那帮货看不上也在意料之中。
故事比较完整，能做到这一点，就已经超过了今天的绝大多数网大。最后的反转有点意思。缺点就是有点平，笑点有些不足。看到这部片子的时候开心麻花一部院线在上映，还有一部春节也要上，但口碑却差得很，想起这几年开心麻花出的一堆烂片，恐怕连这些及格的网大都干不过。
意想不到的还可以，剧情简单，也蛮有意思，有点像 食神 的套路。

很不错的相声想象类电影，加一星给以鼓励，里面除了烧烤老爷子是有演技的，其他都很业余，不过还是感受到了诚意，笑点也可以，希望能再精良一些

歌舞还是传统百老汇室内剧舞台群舞风格，而剧情更接近校园美剧（小学生，初中生）类别，故事情节有些老套。。。还是老问题。。。剧情和歌舞还是有明显割裂感，而且歌舞比重过低。。。只能称之为故事片吧
与告别天团相比，它的结尾比告别天团好很多，但是剧情照告别天团差一些。
