烦死了都要22年居然为斯皮电影落泪。又不是12岁。比起当成普通室内情节剧来单一运镜的原片，这版更无限彰显音乐剧改编电影魔力。舞蹈和调度全面升级，如此灵活有力，以至于女演员跳舞时翻飞的大裙摆简直是比刀刃还要凶悍和挑衅的武器。罢黜了父辈的高压，少年帮派之间仍旧无法化解的对立，令其更身为不被庇佑的被诅咒的失去了一切只拥有仇恨的孩子。“今晚能来这里决战的，都是除了决斗就一无所有的人”。女主超出预期的好，男主在这片里的效果跟悲惨世界的小神马差不多，唱演跳俱烂。But Mike Faist just get the fucking Mercutio vibe，新的银幕crush已诞生。
陈旧的故事和人物关系，复旧的效果不错，只是不欣赏
还挺奇怪的，有非常出彩的段落也有无数恶臭的部分。男主给二重唱改完词这一全片最有魅力的时刻刚结束马上搞个道德绑架，感觉编剧分裂出了正差人类/虎扑厌女直男两个人格。欧阳万成是一个有独特魅力的演员毋庸置疑，但这次顶多算塑造了个变态。
这个确实属于认知壁垒或者知识盲区了。对我来说除了一些光影设计和中间那首America外这又是在难听到家的音乐中折磨人两个半小时的体验，所以我在读评论时频繁看到“经典唱段”这四个字时只能表示非常困惑了
斯皮尔伯格的电影无论怎么样都能保证下限，但是很可惜，这次的下限就是它的上限。对于歌舞片的剧情无论是逻辑还是情感转折都能给予极大的宽容，但是这种“没心没肺没有温度”的“高尚”爱情只会让我感到恐惧，更别提那糟糕的种族肤色问题的处理，既然本片最佳的就是调度，何不把故事改编成斗舞而非斗架。60年前的故事不是不可以说，但你要照抄内容和讲述方式，那不仅是无聊更是灾难。

3. 说实话新版没太多新意，也就比老版稍微更深入的谈了下种族问题。男女主选卡还不如老版，虽然这剧男女主存在感比较弱，但也不至于找这么个平庸白男来演Tony吧......女主好歹唱的可以。
对不起，但私以为真的没有你们说的这么不堪...即便第三幕结束的仓促，但结合打光或是人物站位的调度来看，竟有一种杜琪峰般的港片风范，摄影也变得冷峻残酷，再无舞蹈与歌唱，也再无逃生梯上的隔窗对望。此时此刻与前两幕的制片厂华丽风格相比较，一时间竟有种《红楼梦》似的物是人非之感。更何况斯皮尔伯格这次是真的牛逼啊，开头那个定场镜头的摄影机运动就足以让许多当代导演学个五六年了，仅靠一个镜头便把观众拉入暴力动荡的贫民街区之中。尽管后面可以看出斯皮尔伯格正努力在好莱坞化和去好莱坞化间挣扎，但形式间的隐喻却仍然塞得满满当当，甚至在最后的枪响中共同发力，让我有种莫名的升华的快感...真正诠释了如何通过剧作之外的视听元素来拯救一个平庸的剧本
审美观的问题，理解不了歌舞犯罪片，前一天跳舞，后一天杀人？
改编得很不错，在音乐剧原作的基础上，加入作为一部电影可以加的全部：宏大的舞台背景，沉浸式运镜，复杂走位的群舞，每个人的近景及心理描述 —— 尽力地在细节上让故事线充盈。电影节奏控制到位，让音乐与舞蹈自然融入台词中，很少有音乐剧电影常见的“一言不合就开唱”的违和感。电影还大量融入西班牙语对白，并且不配字幕，把语言间的隔阂与交融坦白呈现。遗憾就是男女主角之间不管是对唱还是对舞都毫无火花，让原本放在当代视角已不甚合理的一见钟情式故事线显得更不可信。主线没有撑起来，全靠支线找补。

或许，《西区故事》本就不该获得电影上的成功，本就应该在舞台剧的框架内发光，精神内核的缺失换使它哪个导演都很难焕发第二春。
新版《西区故事》音乐、摄影、服化道、镜头调度均是顶级水平，保持了斯皮尔伯格的一贯水准。在歌舞与爱情的同时，亦糅合种族议题、少年犯罪等社会关切，无奈却在故事情节和主演演技上翻了跟头。
不太出彩，但运镜，歌舞等让这部电影也还可以
年轻人要多跳舞，多唱歌，多谈恋爱，少打架，打完架就没有明天了
喜欢欧阳万城，演的不错。不容易啊，亚裔普通男性和白人女性的浪漫喜剧电影，也算是创造历史了。
不适合改编成电影的狗血故事，加上资源咖男主（否则无法理解他被选上）的灾难表演，就算歌舞场面再精彩绝伦，还是看得人狂翻白眼。
