The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 今年看的第一部是2020去死，最后一部是2021去死，都得死，收工！
如果说2020年是一部高潮迭起的好莱坞大片，那么2021年就是好莱坞大片的续集，套路都差不多，然而没什么意思，连吐槽都没有上一部有趣了。
太左了，连拜登都舍不得批评，连破坏盟友关系的对澳核潜艇交易都不批评，为此不惜小小地拿盟友法国开了下涮，1分。幽默感很差劲，2分，不过坚持看下去也能偶尔笑出来。两个正面受访人都是女性，最正面的那个是亚裔，算有心了，3分。综合观感也确实有3分。
你从2021学到了什么？我明白了没有人从2020得到教训。 同样的形式看到第二年就没有新意了，但这个系列能够出到第二部本身就是一种讽刺了，2021年，原来和2020年一样，都没有变得更好。
可能只有男主这种无限牺牲的爱，才会救赎女主吧～ 电影画面很美，但节奏有点慢，女主悲惨的命运造就了她这个性格，最终还是因为男主无限的付出，有一个美好的结局～
颜值演技真的可以了/终于不是霸道总裁，农场主很棒啊！人设性格和对爱情的理解都值得9分。自救那段独白真是把我感动哭了。这种力量源于内心的good will。男主向上帝祈祷想要一个能与他分享人生的人。可太多人希望找一个人是来爱自己的了。最后上帝治不孕真的让我哭中带笑。
女主，面对一个爱她的男人，首先选择不相信。遇事，选择逃避。最终，还是勇敢地接受，并爱上了他。

没有看过原著直接看了电影，虽然但是我还是无法理解男主对女主一见钟情的感觉，并且可以这么痴情到改变女主的人生观，可能就是为了诠释了这个电影的名字吧
Never look back, Never look forward.
一直不理解这种举国之力产出的垃圾的意义，包括Death to 2020以及Dont look up这些夸张戏谑一本正经拐着弯吐槽，又不好笑又不正经，有这点时间宁愿看一部认认真真回顾的纪录片，人类所经历的苦难应当严肃。现在这种无非是数码垃圾，没有任何价值，后人打开以为当时就这样，也或者严肃地说会被challenge不严谨或观点偏颇引发争议吧

哭着看完，然后内心OS是：“姐很贵，和我在一起你要付代价。” 真的觉得现在很多问题，是和魔鬼对人类自我价值的攻击有很大关系，但女孩儿们真的要记住：“妳很贵！Precious！”
